David started his career at Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) in the last 1980’s learning his trade on large IT projects in the Financial Services and Energy Sectors. Some of his marquee clients over his 15 year career with Accenture include Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong and Singapore, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, St George Bank, Westpac, AMP, Prospect Electricity and the State Energy Commission of Western Australia.

Leaving Accenture in 2004 David joined the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) and has been central to CBA’s dramatic IT transformation over the last 7 years. David’s key roles at CBA include CIO, Group Services and CIO, International Financial Services where his responsibilities included planning and delivering the IT integration of Bankwest as well as providing the IT solutions to support CBA’s market entries for both India and China.

David’s specialties include: IT Strategy and Architecture, IT Transformation, big Project Delivery and Mergers and Acquisitions.
